Care Like H-VERSE: Hearing the Voices That Are Left Unheard
Like food and water, hygiene is also an essential human need that is rarely focused on. In a society where this taboo topic of hygiene is brushed under the carpet or frowned upon, the issue of lack of public bathrooms, especially in terms of feminine hygiene, is increasingly becoming alarming.
Care Like H-VERSE: A Small Step Towards Brighter Future
In the last three years, H-VERSE has taken the much-needed step of renovating bathrooms of several key educational institutions including Government Girls’ School Bedian Road Lahore, Sohawa Dhilwan Village School, National College of Arts (NCA), and University of Engineering and Technology (UET). We equipped these facilities with top-quality H-VERSE tiles and sanitary ware to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for students.
The renovated facilities have not only improved hygiene standards but also boosted the morale of the students. They now have access to clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing bathrooms, which contributes to a more positive school experience.
Our Responsibility Towards Our Children
The main aim of this project by H-VERSE was to make our children aware that hygiene is their right. By empowering them to speak up, we hope to foster a generation that values and upholds basic hygienic practices that are essential for living a healthy life and focusing on their goals.
Additionally, our project discourages open defecation, positively impacting the environment and safeguarding open water resources.
Also, we focused on making the bathroom more energy-efficient. Mostly, old toilets waste 3.5 to 6 gallons of water per flush, while newer ones only use approximately 1.28 gallons per flush. This significant reduction in water usage contributes to overall sustainability efforts.
We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to our community service projects for students, from the school management to each laborer who laid a single brick in its foundation.
H-VERSE will always remain committed to making a positive difference in Pakistan. We are always taking steps to make everyone’s life better. We hope that our project spreads a positive message in Pakistan especially rural areas regarding hygiene and makes them aware of its positive impact.
